Solar PV Roofer
This is a rare opportunity to combine a passion for renewable energy with a real career opportunity to work with key influencers driving solar in Ireland to the next level.
We are looking for talented solar PV roofers and carpenters to join our busy installation teams in Munster. Our base is just outside Macroom and applicants will need to be able to get to the base, and then travel travel onwards to various sites within Munster.
The 4 installs a week role entails travelling to customer sites in a branded vehicle and completing the electrical works for the installation of solar PV panels on homes, farms and businesses in line with SEAI Code of Practice, building regulations, and our own internal health and safety requirements. We endeavor for our installation teams to work a 4 day work week.
Responsibilities
- Install solar panels and mounting systems on domestic, commercial and agricultural roofs
- Erect and disassemble aluminium scaffolding systems
- Plan work on site and engage with homeowners to over-communicate progress
- Complete works in the allocated time, ensuring the highest standards and attention to detail
- Compile, record, and submit all required documentation
Requirements
- Roofing/Carpentry qualification, with at least 1 year experience in solar PV
- Innate leadership ability and appetite to continually develop
- Excellent time keeping and organisational skills
- Driven, ambitious and self-motivated, and deeply passionate about renewable technologies
