SEAI make available a grant up to €2400 for the installation of solar PV panels and a battery storage system. The amount available for solar panels is a maximum of €1800 for a system up to 2kWp with an additional €300 for every additional kWp up to 4kWp. The total Solar PV grant is capped at €2400 (updated on February 2022). You are eligible for the grant if  your home was built and occupied before 2011. The second condition for eligibility is that after your solar PV system installation, your home must achieve at least a C BER energy performance rating.
