Our Warranty

SolarSmart warrants and represents its installation corresponds in all respects with the applicable technical documentation or specifications (including the Better Energy Warmer Homes Scheme and Guidelines and any other prescribed specifications and standards guidance from SEAI pertaining to the Better Energy Warmer Homes scheme), is of merchantable quality, fit to effectively improve the energy efficiency of your home, free from defects and compliant with all relevant statutory requirements and regulations relating to our work.

In the event of a problem with your solar energy system installation within a period of two (2) years from the date your system was commissioned, then SolarSmart will, at our cost and expense, remedy and/or repair the problem, or replace the system and return it to full working condition.

SolarSmart assigns and passes through the benefit of all warranties it has received from third parties in relation to your system and the installation.

SolarSmart fully indemnifies you from and against any losses, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, claims and expenses (including, without limitation, legal costs and expenses) awarded against or suffered, incurred or paid by you which may arise out of, or are consequential upon or connected with SolarSmart’s performance (or non-performance) of its obligations under this warranty.
